Ambar Solarte

Ambar Solarte is an experienced entrepreneurship specialist at Business Oregon since February 2022, with a background in leadership roles focused on community engagement and development. Previously, Solarte served as the Mercado Empresarios Director as well as Communication and Event Manager at Hacienda CDC, contributing to the empowerment of the Latino community through health awareness initiatives. Earlier experience includes roles in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, where Solarte specialized in monitoring and evaluation of land rights formalization programs. Additionally, administrative project management was conducted for the Colombia Productive Partnerships Support Project, aimed at enhancing economic sustainability in rural areas. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership & Policy from Portland State University, complemented by degrees in Liberal Arts, Mass Communications, and Film Production from various institutions.
