Pia Areblad

Pia Areblad serves as the Head of Industry and Commerce Strategic Development Programme at Business Region Göteborg since May 2018, focusing on fostering collaboration among public stakeholders to enhance trade and industry in Gothenburg and its surrounding municipalities. Previously, Pia worked as the Head of Business Development at Ale kommun, where efforts were concentrated on improving local businesses' competitiveness and encouraging new startups. Experience also includes roles as a Project Manager at Business Region Göteborg AB, where strategic business program initiatives were developed, and as Director of Strategic Alliances at TILLT / Skådebanan Västra Götaland, managing strategy and external relations. Pia's early career involved structuring organizations for stability and financial viability. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Dance Pedagogy, independent studies in Leadership and Strategic Development, and certifications in Yoga instruction.
