Alejandra Cuevas has a diverse work experience, starting from their role as a Project Leader at UAB - Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 1994. Alejandra then worked as a Communications Consultant at Impulsa Consulting from 2000 to 2003. Following this, they served as a Public Relations Manager at Augen Opticos in 2003. In 2010, they joined White Digital Media, where they held two roles: Editor-in-Chief and Latin American Liaison. Currently, they are an Adjunct Professor at Newhouse School, Syracuse University, a position they have held since 2013.

Alejandra Cuevas has a strong educational background in the field of Communications. Alejandra obtained their Bachelor's degree in Communications Sciences from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California in the years 1989 to 1993. Alejandra then pursued further education at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they completed a Masters degree in Communication from 1994 to 1996. Building upon their expertise, Alejandra Cuevas continued their studies at the same institution, earning a Doctorate degree in Communications from 1994 to 1999. Later, they expanded their knowledge in business administration by completing a Postgraduate Course in Business Administration - Management Competencies- at Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2000 to 2001.
