Mike Maguire

Mike Maguire has extensive work experience in the field of editorial management and supervision. Mike started their career in 1989 as a Senior Editor and National Sports Editor at Business Wire, where they edited and proofread press releases and assisted clients in timely disclosure of corporate news. Mike later became a Newsroom Supervisor, overseeing a 25-person editorial staff and working with the sales force to build a client base. Mike then served as a Senior Newsroom Supervisor, where they conducted yearly reviews for a staff of 35 and coordinated staffing needs. Subsequently, they became the Northeast Region Editorial Supervisor, overseeing newsrooms in multiple locations and proposing new guidelines for increased performance. Most recently, they held the role of Editorial Products Integration Manager, responsible for integrating editorial products and managing the overall editorial performance. In addition to their time at Business Wire, Mike also worked at PA SportsTicker, Inc. as an Editor, managing the newsroom staff and writing sports news stories and reports.

Mike Maguire attended St. Bonaventure University from 1982 to 1986, where they studied Communications. Mike then pursued further education at Seton Hall University from 2001 to 2008, earning a Master's degree in Corporate & Public Communications.
