Sofiya Yevchuk

Sofiya Yevchuk has extensive experience in communications and public relations. Sofiya started their career as an intern for a Member of Parliament in the Canada-Ukraine Parliamentary Program in 2009. Sofiya then worked as a Manager of Communication at Volyn National University from 2007 to 2011. Sofiya joined the European Commission as a Blue Book Trainee from October 2012 to March 2013. Sofiya then worked at Weber Shandwick as a Corporate Communications professional from July 2013 to March 2014. Sofiya later worked as a Communications Officer at EURATEX from April 2014 to August 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Press & Media Adviser at BusinessEurope, and they will soon become the Director of Communications starting in January 2023.

Sofiya Yevchuk completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Philology at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University from 2005 to 2009. Sofiya then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in English Philology and Literature at the same university from 2009 to 2010. Later, from 2011 to 2012, Sofiya attended the College of Europe, where they obtained another Master of Arts (MA) degree in European Interdisciplinary Studies.
