Shemel Hill

Shemel Hill has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2015, Shemel worked at George Mason University as a Peer Advisor, Mentor, and later as a Success Coach. In 2016, they transitioned to Equity Residential as a Leasing Consultant before moving on to Success Academy Charter Schools as an Associate Teacher and then an English Language Art Teacher. From 2018 to 2019, Shemel worked at HAND IN HAND FOR HAITI as a Teacher Team Lead and Trainer. They then joined Democracy Prep Public Schools in 2019 as a Lead Teacher and ELL Coordinator until 2021.
