Riaz Ali

Riaz Ali has extensive work experience in hardware engineering and technology roles. Riaz is currently serving as the VP of IoT and Hardware Technology at BusPatrol. Prior to this, they held the position of VP of Hardware Engineering at Ghost. Riaz also worked as the Senior Director of Hardware Engineering at Quanergy and as the Director of Hardware Engineering at Aeva, Inc. Riaz gained valuable experience at Microsoft, where they served as the Director of Hardware Engineering and the Senior Systems Engineer Lead, Architecture for Depth Sensing Hardware. Riaz began their career at Cisco Systems, first as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer and later as a Technical Leader in Product Development. Riaz's early career included roles as a Research Engineer at SRI International and as a Hard Drive Read/Write Engineer at Quantum.

Riaz Ali pursued their education in the field of electrical engineering. Riaz completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in electrical engineering from San Jose State University in 1998. Riaz furthered their studies by obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in electrical engineering from the same university in 2002. Later on, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business, which they completed in 2012.
