Jonathan Tuzman

Jonathan Tuzman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jonathan is currently employed as a Software Engineer at ButcherBox since 2022. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Front End Engineer, Web at SuperDraft, Inc., where they were responsible for building and maintaining features for a Fantasy Sports web application. Their work involved using React, Redux Toolkit, and RTK Query, converting and optimizing code components, and leading the implementation of new game modes.

Before SuperDraft, Inc., Jonathan worked at Sunrise Labs, Inc. as a Software Engineer from 2019 to 2021. In this role, they developed and tested front-end web and desktop applications using technologies such as React, Typescript, WPF, and Angular. Jonathan also implemented containerized development environments and contributed to the implementation of new features in a React web application for a real-time MRI monitoring application.

Additionally, Jonathan worked as a Mobile Developer (Freelance Contract) at Quinteros Marketing Group in 2019, where they designed and built mobile applications integrating with existing Wordpress websites using React Native, Redux, and Redux-Saga. Jonathan implemented login-registration-logout functionality and worked independently to deliver projects.

Prior to their software engineering roles, Jonathan had a background in music. Jonathan owned and performed as an Entertainer/Pianist at Your Piano Bar from 2015 to 2019, where they performed at various events, managed bookings and marketing, and conducted pre-event interviews to tailor the musical experience for clients. Jonathan also worked as a Piano/Vocal Performer at Georgetown Piano Bar from 2014 to 2019, and as a Keyboardist and Musical Director at Infusion from 2012 to 2019. At Infusion, they performed at weddings and corporate functions and led musicians as the musical director. Jonathan also created digital sheet music to aid in learning new songs.

In 2012, Jonathan worked as the Musical Director for "Mr. Burns (a postelectric play)" at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company.

Jonathan Tuzman attended Montclair High School from 1998 to 2002. Jonathan then pursued a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Composition at the University of Miami from 2002 to 2006. In 2018 and 2019, Jonathan attended Flatiron School where they studied Full Stack Web Development.
