Melvin J. Malone

Melvin J. Malone is the current Practice Group Leader of the Regulatory & Government Group at Butler Snow. Melvin has experience as a Member at Miller & Martin PLLC from July 2002 to June 2012, where they served as Chair of the Firm and Co-Chaired the Firm's Telecommunications & Utilities Practice Group. Melvin has also served as Chairman of the Tennessee Regulatory Authority from January 1995 to June 2002, regulating public utilities in the State of Tennessee.

Melvin J. Malone attended the University of Tennessee College of Law, where they earned their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Prior to attending law school, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in finance from the University of Tennessee.
