Jiani Zeng

Jiani Zeng is the Co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Butlr, a position held since January 2019. Prior to this, Jiani served as a Research Affiliate within the HCI Engineering Group at MIT CSAIL from October 2019 to October 2021. Experience also includes roles at Seymourpowell as Foresight + Product Design, at the MIT Media Lab as a Research Assistant, and at the MIT Design Lab as a Design Researcher. Jiani began a career in engineering as a Development Engineer (Management Associate) at Hilti Group from January 2015 to July 2016. Academic credentials include a Master’s of Science in Engineering and Management (Design) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an exchange program in Industrial Design at UNSW, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Product Design and Manufacture from The University of Nottingham Ningbo China.
