Tengfei Chang is an Assistant Professor at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) since April 2023, focusing on Wireless Network Protocols, IETF Standards, Wireless Localization, Sensor Fusion, and Robotics within the IoT Thrust. Concurrently, Tengfei serves as a Principal Scientist at Butlr, investigating technologies for high-traffic wireless networking applications. Earlier experience includes co-founding MonoLets, Inc. as Network Architect, and a tenure at Inria as a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow, where benchmarking and porting Industrial IoT protocol stacks were key responsibilities. Previous roles also encompassed work as a Postdoctoral Research Engineer and Research Engineer, contributing to significant projects on interoperability testing and OpenWSN. Tengfei completed a PhD in Computer Engineering Technology at the University of Science and Technology Beijing and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Central South Forestry University.
