Michael Ford

Michael Ford has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and positions. Michael is currently working as the Lead Systems Engineer, Integration & Test at Butlr since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at iRobot as a Senior System Test Engineer from March 2020 to December 2022. Before joining iRobot, they were employed at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they served as a Mechanical Engineer II from May 2016 to January 2020. Additionally, they had a summer internship at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 2015, where they worked on the Corer Team of the Sample Caching Subsystem of the Mars 2020 Rover and developed a prototype transmission. Michael also served as a Coordinating Tutor at Carnegie Mellon University from January 2013 to May 2015 and had summer internships at FMS Aerospace in 2014 and as an Undergraduate Researcher at RWTH Aachen University in 2013.

Michael Ford completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University from 2011 to 2015. Michael then pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 2015.
