Ross Desmond

Ross Desmond has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Currently, they serve as the Head of Software at Butlr, where they lead a team and guides the development of their privacy-focused product. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon as a Software Engineering Manager for three years. Ross also held the position of SDE2 at Amazon Web Services and Amazon Robotics, where they contributed to software development. Before joining Amazon, Ross worked at Oracle as an Associate Member of Technical Staff, focusing on software development. Ross gained experience as a Software Developer at Tekelec and held an internship as a Controls Engineer at Symbotic. Additionally, they worked as an Installer at CCS Presentation Systems and as a Snowboard Instructor/Staff Trainer at Nashoba Valley Ski Area. Ross also interned as a Software Intern at the Massachusetts Medical Society. Throughout their career, Ross has demonstrated their expertise in software development, leadership, and team management.

Ross Desmond completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2013. Prior to that, they attended Nashoba Valley Technical High School and graduated in 2009. Ross then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, which they obtained in 2014.
