Vijay became inspired by the power of payments technology focused to this purpose when traveling in Indonesia working for a company whose mission was expanding literacy and saw first hand how a broken payment system blocked access from so many deserving but unbanked people. In the process of solving this problem (thousands of people suddenly had access to books) he developed an approach that would result in the world’s leading core technology around payment authorization and recovery.
