Art Lankford

Art Lankford has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Art started their career at Tyson Foods in 1985, where they held various hourly production positions until 1992. Art then worked as a classroom teacher in the North Carolina Public Schools from 1992 to 1993. Lankford returned to Tyson Foods as a management trainee in 1993 and progressed to become a Human Resources Manager from 1993 to 1997. Art joined Cargill as a Human Resources Director from 1997 to 2000, followed by a Human Resources Director role at Conagra Brands from 2000 to 2003. Lankford then became the General Manager at Tar Heel Oil, Inc., overseeing operations from 2003 to 2017. Art joined Pilgrim's as a Complex Manager from 2017 to 2019. For the past few years, Lankford has worked at Inghams Group Limited, serving as the GM of Primary Processing from 2019 to 2020, GM of Farming and Feedmilling from 2020 to 2022, and currently holds the position of Chief Agribusiness Officer. In addition, they will be joining Butterball, LLC as the Vice President of Operations starting in April 2023.

Art Lankford obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where they attended from 1990 to 1992. Prior to that, they received an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from Wilkes Community College, completing their studies from 1988 to 1989. Art Lankford also graduated from Wilkes Central High School in 1987, where they obtained their High School Diploma.
