Govinda Koirala

Govinda Koirala is an experienced professional in Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence, currently serving as the Director of CI/Operational Excellence at Butterball, LLC since July 2020. In this role, Govinda drives the company's vision for culture transformation, focusing on change management, employee empowerment, and strategic development. Prior to joining Butterball, Govinda held multiple positions at Kellogg Company from November 2013 to July 2020, including Continuous Improvement Manager and Operations Specialist. Responsibilities included leading initiatives for Lean transformation, managing cross-functional teams, and implementing operational improvements in high-speed food manufacturing. Govinda's background also includes mentoring in robotics, fitness training, and formal education in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and an Associate's degree in Engineering from Metropolitan Community College-Maple Woods.
