Alex Flury

Alex Flury has extensive work experience as a software engineer, with a focus on full-stack development and serverless applications. They have held senior roles at various companies, including ButterflyMX®, Bridg, Meredith Corporation, Time Inc., and HG Data. At Meredith Corporation, Alex managed a team of 2 software engineers and served as the tech lead for a team of 7. They were responsible for architecting and implementing serverless applications on AWS using a range of AWS services. Additionally, Alex has experience as a teaching assistant at UC Santa Barbara and as a front-end developer at E*TRADE Financial and Yahoo!. They have also worked as a tutor and grader during their academic years at Stanford University and De Anza College.

Alex Flury attended Stanford University from 2006 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics with a minor in computer science. In 2011, they enrolled at UC Santa Barbara and received a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Mathematics in 2013. Prior to attending Stanford, Alex Flury attended De Anza College from 2004 to 2006, although no degree or field of study is specified for that time period.
