Katharine Kistler

Katharine Kistler has a diverse range of work experience. Katharine started their career as a Manager for the Johnson High School Swim Team in 2012. Katharine then went on to work as an Assistant Swim Coach for the Encino Forest Frogs from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, Katharine worked as the Waterfront Director for Kickapoo Kamp for Girls, where they organized schedules and worked with campers in a fast-paced environment.

From 2015 to 2017, Katharine worked as a Sales Floor Associate for Urban Outfitters, where they assisted with social media management and wrote promotional captions. In 2018, they worked as a Nanny for a private company before transitioning to the role of Academic Coach at PACE Academic Coaching. As an Academic Coach, they planned and executed student events and saw an increase in attendance.

In 2020, Katharine worked as a Substitute Teacher for the North East Independent School District. Katharine then joined a private political marketing firm in 2021 as a Digital Marketing Copywriter, where they wrote content for various political campaigns and collaborated with campaign managers and strategists.

Currently, Katharine is working as a Content Writer for ButterflyMX®, where they write blog content, creates LinkedIn Pulse pieces and press releases, and publishes content on WordPress and Divi Builder to boost sales and acquisitions.

Katharine Kistler completed their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing from Texas State University, from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Literature, General, at The University of Texas at Austin, from 2014 to 2017.
