Leonardo Yana Romero

Leonardo Yana Romero is an accomplished cinematography and film/video production student at Boston University, expected to graduate in 2025. Currently serving as the Equipment Chair for Delta Kappa Alpha Professional Cinema Society since October 2022, Leonardo manages film equipment for the fraternity's semester production. As a Pledge Education Officer, responsibilities include teaching new members the fraternity's values and coordinating bonding events. Leonardo also holds multiple roles at BUTV10 since October 2021, including Bay State Cinematographer, where coordination of lighting design and camera setups for a soap opera takes place, and Camera Operator/Editor, responsible for coordinating camera setups and editing a news show. Additionally, serving as the Bay State Chief Lighting Technician involves executing studio lighting setups discussed with the cinematographer for the soap opera.
