Joris Vermeulen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Joris began their career as a Salesmedewerker at Work Out in 2010 before moving on to work as a Skileraar at Skischool Obermoser, where they were responsible for teaching people how to ski and ensuring their safety. In 2012, they transitioned to a role as Horecamedewerker at Le Journal Utrecht.

From 2015 to 2016, Joris worked at 2theloo, first as a Stagiair Concept Management, assisting the Concept Management team in optimizing operations at all 2theloo locations, and later as a Concept Manager.

In 2017, they joined KICK Digital B.V. as an Account Manager and also took on Sales & Marketing responsibilities at KICK! Creative Agency in 2019.

In 2020, Joris became a Sales Manager at i-Aspect B.V. before transitioning to gloryfy unbreakable eyewear as a Sales & Marketing Manager Benelux in 2022. Joris left gloryfy unbreakable eyewear in 2022 and joined BuyBay in 2023 as a Business Development Manager.

Joris Vermeulen attended St. Bonifatiuscollege from 2005 to 2012, where they obtained their VWO degree. Following that, from 2012 to 2017, they studied at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, majoring in Commerciële Economie. In 2016, they also had a brief educational experience at Istanbul University, where they pursued a minor in Business Administration and Management, General.
