Alexander Serov

Alexander Serov has worked in various roles since 2010. Alexander was a Lecturer at the Moscow Planetarium from 2010 to 2012, and an Analyst at ROSNO from 2010 to 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Ph.D. Student at Ecole Polytechnique, working on a project in theoretical biophysics investigating oxygen exchange in the human placenta. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow in Theoretical Biophysics at UCLA. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow in Theoretical Biophysics at the Institut Pasteur, where they developed Bayesian inference methods with applications to random walks in biology. Since 2020, they have been an Optimization Engineer at EDF Store & Forecast, and since 2022, they have been a Data Scientist at buynomics.

Alexander Serov has a long and distinguished educational background. Alexander obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) between 2005 and 2009. Alexander then earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Semiconductor Physics from MSU between 2009 and 2011. Following this, they completed a Research Project in Statistical Physics at MSU in 2012. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Biophysics from \u00c9cole Polytechnique between 2012 and 2015. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Advanced Pandas and Machine Learning with Scikit-Learn from LinkedIn in April 2022, as well as a Verified Peer Reviewer certification from Publons.
