Iman Nabiyouni has worked in a variety of roles since 2002. In 2009, they were a Senior Engineer at Navard Aluminium Company. From 2012 to 2016, they were an Instructor at Arak University and an Associate Instructor at Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Teaching Assistant at West Virginia University School of Engineering and a Research Assistant at Grand Challenge Precision Health Initiative. In 2019, they were a Machine Learning Software Engineer and Software Engineering Intern at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, Inc. Currently, they are a Senior Machine Learning Engineer & Backend Engineer at Buzz Solutions, where they research and develops advanced algorithms for image and video processing, builds and trains computer vision and object detection models, deploys models on cloud infrastructure, implements solutions for web and mobile platforms, deploys backend kubernetes servers, and builds plotly dashboards for data and performance visualization.

Iman Nabiyouni has a diverse educational background. Iman completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology between 2002 and 2006. Iman then went on to earn a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic between 2007 and 2009. Most recently, they completed a Master of Science - MS in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington in 2019.
