Beth Johnson

Beth Johnson has a strong and diverse background in marketing and business development. Beth is currently the Vice President of Marketing at Buzzback since 2021. Previously, they served as President and President of Marketing Consultancy at Ready Set Launch from 2011 to 2021. In these roles, they delivered profitable growth strategies and programs for consumer technology and consumer products companies. Beth also worked as the Chief Commercial Officer at Smith & Vandiver Corporation in 2018-2019, where they led sales and marketing efforts for specialty bath, body care, and skincare products. Beth co-founded Fight Brands in 2016-2018, focusing on providing better nutrition for cancer fighters and successfully raised funding for product development and manufacturing. Prior to that, Beth held various roles at Plantronics, Inc from 2001 to 2010, where they led global product marketing, corporate marketing, B2B marketing, and consumer insights teams. Beth played a key role in positioning and launching wireless technologies and improving profitability. Beth also worked as the Director of Channel Marketing and Business Development at Linuxcare from 1999 to 2001. During their tenure, they developed an indirect channel strategy and expanded the company's revenue through F100 accounts. Before that, they were the Director of Product Marketing at Netcom Online Communications in 1998-1999. Beth's early experience includes working as a Business Unit Director at Kensington from 1994 to 1998, where they led marketing and product development and achieved success in expanding distribution channels and launching top-selling products.

Beth Johnson has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Entrepreneurship and Global Management from UCLA Anderson School of Management. Beth also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from Auburn University. Furthermore, Beth has taken graduate-level courses in food science and technology at UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Corporate Governance as a Certified Director from UCLA Anderson School of Management in September 2016.
