Layla Shea is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in marketing and brand strategy. As the Founder and Chief Insight Officer at Upwords Inc since July 2008, Layla has been instrumental in helping marketers and brand leaders understand the human insights that drive their brands. Prior to this, Layla served as Director at Sklar Wilton & Associates Ltd, providing strategic marketing insights through qualitative and quantitative research from October 2001 to August 2008. Layla's earlier roles include Group Marketing Manager for Innovation at The Coca-Cola Company, managing the 100% juice portfolio, and Product Manager at SC Johnson, overseeing various Household Cleaning brands. Layla holds an Honours Business Administration degree with a Marketing Major and Philosophy Minor from Wilfrid Laurier University.
