Nicolai Nissen-Lie

Nicolai Nissen-Lie is an experienced investment manager currently overseeing investment opportunities in battery energy storage systems at BW ESS since June 2023. Previously, Nicolai served as Manager of Strategy & Corporate Development at BW Group from April 2021 to June 2023, focusing on M&A and investment evaluation, particularly in battery energy storage. Prior to that, Nicolai worked at Nordea from April 2014 to April 2021 in various roles, including Chief Credit Analyst, where responsibilities included financial and industry analysis, managing a team of analysts, and preparing credit memorandums. Earlier experience includes project management and local resource management roles at zentuvo AS, along with academic qualifications including an MSc in Financial Economics from City, University of London and a BSc in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Essex.
