Diptendu Paramanick, M.Sc, I.Eng, I.Mar.Eng has a strong background in marine engineering. Diptendu began their career in 2008 as a Chief Engineer at Anglo Eastern Ship Management, where they gained expertise in large slow and medium-speed marine diesel engines, marine power plants, LPG compressors, and AC/refrigeration systems. In 2010, they joined Fleet Management Hong Kong as a Chief Engineer, where they specialized in marine diesel engines, power distribution, and machinery installation. Diptendu then moved to Selandia Ship Management in 2013, where they served as a Chief Engineer, before joining BW Gas ASA as a Chief Engineer in 2013 and Mare Maritime Singapore Ltd. as a Technical Superintendent in 2014. In their most recent role at Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement, starting in 2019, Diptendu serves as a Chief Engineer.

In 1989, they enrolled at the University of Calcutta, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 1991. Following this, from 1992 to 1996, they attended the WEST BENGAL COUNCIL OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION, where they obtained a Diploma in Marine Engineering and Training, specializing in Marine Engineering. Lastly, in 2011, Diptendu pursued an MSc. degree in Maritime Operations and Management from City, University of London, which they completed in 2012.
