Dr Heather Dalgarno

Dr. Heather Dalgarno is an accomplished Project Engineering Manager at Leonardo since August 2012, currently focusing on a large-scale Radar programme as a Systems & Software PEM. With a rich background as a Lead Systems Engineer and previous roles including CDT Product Line Specialist/Architect and Principal System Engineer, Dr. Dalgarno has extensive experience in Systems design and Radar Tracking. Academic credentials include a PhD in Adaptive Optics for Astronomy from Heriot-Watt University, complemented by earlier studies in Physics and Laser Engineering & Optoelectronics. Previous experience includes positions as a Research Fellow at the University of St. Andrews and Post-doctoral Research Associate at Heriot-Watt University.
