George Mackenzie is a seasoned electrical and instrumentation engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as Lead Electrical Engineer for the Barossa Project at BW Offshore since October 2021, George previously held various positions, including Lead Instrument Engineer at Geo-Tech Electrical & Instrument Ltd and Asset Electrical & Instrument Technical Authority for the BW Catcher FPSO. George's background includes significant roles at Premier Oil, Maersk FPSOs, and National Oilwell Varco, with a career beginning as a Trainee Electrical & Instrument Technician. Holding a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Robert Gordon University, George has consistently demonstrated expertise in engineering services, technical assurance, and compliance across multiple high-profile projects.
