Seog Hun Sohn

Seog Hun Sohn is a seasoned Principal Engineer at BW Offshore in Singapore, with extensive experience in technical safety leadership for various FPSO and FSRU projects, including Barossa, GdM, and Ha Long Bay. Responsibilities encompass leading technical safety efforts, regulatory compliance, and the development of engineering documents such as fire protection plans and hazard management strategies. Prior to BW Offshore, Seog Hun served as Project Manager Approval and Principal Approval Engineer at Det Norske Veritas, specializing in marine and safety systems, and as Senior Engineer at American Bureau of Shipping, focusing on marine and offshore project oversight. Seog Hun holds a Master’s degree in Marine Engineering from Korea Maritime & Ocean University.
