Chris Dumond

Chris Dumond is an accomplished communications professional with over two decades of experience in various roles. Currently serving as Communications Manager for Government Operations at BWX Technologies, Inc. since May 2012, Chris oversees communications for the Nuclear Operations Group, which includes a workforce of more than 4,500 employees across multiple locations. Prior to this role, Chris managed employee communications and public relations for the Nuclear Operations Group and provided corporate communication services, including writing and communications planning. Chris’s earlier experience includes positions as a staff writer at The News & Advance, Cox Ohio Publishing, and the Bristol Herald Courier, as well as serving as city editor. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Emory & Henry University.
