John Cleary, CFCM has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and companies. John began their career as a Financial Analyst Intern at the Environmental Protection Agency in 1998. In 1999, they worked as an Accounting & Human Resource Intern at The Wolf Trap Foundation for Performing Arts. From 2000 to 2003, they served as a Budget Analyst and Acquisition Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they managed contracts and provided program management support. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Senior Consultant - Financial Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton. In 2006, they became AVP, Federal Contracts & Pricing at By Light Professional IT Services. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Contracts & Finance at the same company, where they manage a portfolio of contracts and subcontracts and advises leadership on contractual and compliance matters.

John also possesses a certification as a Certified Federal Contracts Manager, which they obtained from the National Contract Management Association, D.C. Chapter in December 2016.
