Jennifer Risi is the Founder and President of The Sway Effect, a position held since June 2019. Risi is also a Founding Partner at by The Network and a Board Member at Unsilenced, both roles assumed in 2020 and 2022, respectively. Additionally, Risi serves as a Foundation Board Member for the 4A's and as a Strategic Advisor for UN Women since 2014. Previous experience includes serving as Worldwide Chief Communications Officer and Global Managing Director for Ogilvy Media Influence from March 2011 to May 2019, where responsibilities included global media relations, crisis communications, and brand positioning. Risi's early career at Weber Shandwick culminated in the role of Executive Vice President and co-founder of the Global Strategic Media Group, overseeing corporate positioning for major accounts. Risi earned a BA in Psychology from Barnard College.
