Mary Schaffer

Mary Schaffer currently serves as the Director of Human Resources Operations at ByHeart, an infant nutrition company, since March 2024. Prior to this role, Mary held significant positions at SmileDirectClub from December 2019 to December 2023, including Senior Director, People & Organization Business Partner, where responsibilities included strategic HR partnership with the Global Head of Supply Chain. Earlier experience includes Director and Director of Team Member Relations at Kirkland's, where Mary led HR efforts for up to 400 stores, and progressively advanced at Pier 1 Imports from Human Resource Assistant to Associate Human Resource Manager, supporting the Field HR team across over 400 retail locations. Mary began a career in HR at Prudential Insurance as a Travel Coordinator. Education was completed at Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management.
