Nitin Golani

Nitin Golani is a seasoned consumer & technology business leader with nearly two decades of global experience across technology, consumer goods, retail & financial services companies. He has lived & worked across India, New York, London, Tokyo, Dubai & Düsseldorf.

Nitin is currently the Group CSO of Aakash Education & its subsidiaries (11K+ employees, 3000 Cr+ in Revenue). In his role, he drives strategy and management of core offerings at Aakash which include digital along with classroom, hybrid, and distance learning. He focuses on innovating offerings across channels to better support students while driving profitable growth for the group.

Prior to this, Nitin was the CEO & BU Head of Aakash Digital business where he led P&L, strategy formulation and execution of 2500+ employees across all functions. He setup & scaled the digital business 3x over 3 years and drove the execution and teams growing the business from ~50Cr to ~700Cr ARR. Nitin was part of the core team that led Byju’s acquisition of Aakash Education for US$1 Bn and led multiple rounds of capital raising totaling over US$2 Bn at Byju’s.

Prior to Aakash Digital, Nitin was Principal at Accenture Strategy, where he was a C-suite thought partner leading consulting & operations engagements across functions. He fast tracked to Principal over his 5-year tenure in the company, moving levels up every year. Prior to Accenture, Nitin held strategy & transformation roles at MetLife. He began his career with Grant Thornton Bharat in their Assurance Advisory practice.

Outside work, Nitin is an angel investor and mentor, where he passionately supports and empowers entrepreneurs and startups in technology, consumer goods, automotive & education space, as well as contributing to the social impact of education partnering with NITI Aayog.

Nitin Golani attended the Indian School of Business, where they earned their Full-Time MBA in Strategy & Operations. After graduation, they became a Co-Founder, Mentor & Coach at Eduzign India.
