Kai Steenweg

Kai Steenweg began their work experience in 1999 with an internship at Brillux Coatings GmbH. From there, they worked as a Product Manager at Relius Industrielacke before joining Evonik in 2002. At Evonik, they held various roles including Technical Service Technician, Senior Technical Service Manager, Marketing Manager Raw Materials Construction, and Director Sales South Europe. In 2014, they moved to EVONIK RESOURCE EFFICIENCY GMBH and took on the positions of Business Director and Director Sales Central Europe, where they led a team of 11 people and managed sales and distribution for the Business Line Coating Additives. Steenweg is currently the Head of Sales Paint Additives at BYK Additives & Instruments.

Kai Steenweg achieved a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Coating Technology from Saxion University of Applied Sciences in 2002. Additionally, in 2001-2002, they pursued a Coating Engineering degree in Lackingenieurwesen from Hochschule Niederrhein.
