Ann Mulroe has an extensive work experience in the banking and finance industry. Ann started their career in 1990 at Midwest Bank and Trust Company, where they held the role of Vice President for almost 19 years. During this time, they also served as Vice President at Midwest Banc Holdings Inc (MBHI). In 2002, they became the Treasurer at Midwest Financial and Investment Services, a position they held until 2009.

In 2009, Ann joined New Century Bank as the Vice President & Controller for a year before transitioning to Urban Partnership Bank in 2010. At Urban Partnership Bank, they worked as a Specialist in Finance and later became the Assistant Controller. Ann stayed with the company until 2016.

In 2010, Ann also had a short-term role as a Consultant for MB Financial Bank, NA. Ann briefly worked with FDIC as part of the Proforma Group.
