Javier Villanueva

Javier Villanueva has extensive experience in investment management and financial advisory roles, currently serving in the investment management department at BYMA Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos S.A. since 2019. Prior to this position, Javier held various significant roles, including Director of Economic Management at the Ministry of Transportation of the Nation from 2016 to 2019, and worked as an independent financial advisor between 2010 and 2016. Javier's earlier career includes leadership positions at HSBC and Orlando J Ferreres y Asociados, as well as managing the Buenos Aires office for Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and serving in investment banking roles at Citi and J.P. Morgan. Javier holds an MBA in Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management and an Ingeniero Industrial degree from the University of Buenos Aires.
