Marcus Chairez

Marcus Chairez has an extensive work experience in project and program management roles. Marcus started their career in 2010 as a Project Manager at Fish Marketing, where they were responsible for managing production budgets and timelines for integrated advertising campaigns. In 2011, they joined Duarte Design as a Senior Project Manager, leading a team on projects for various leading brands.

In 2014, Marcus became the Head of Project Management at the Hive Advertising, where they established the project management discipline and improved operational efficiency. Marcus then moved to Eleven, Inc. in 2015 as a Senior Project Manager, leading project management for advertising campaigns and defining best practices for new project management tools.

In the same year, Marcus joined Duarte, Inc. as a Senior Project Manager, where they managed resource capacity for a creative department and owned the budget and planning for new projects. Marcus also worked as a Senior Project Manager at Beyond in 2016, leading multi-million dollar projects for Facebook, Google, Marketo, and Gap.

Marcus then progressed to the role of Associate Program Director at Beyond in 2018, where they led a program management team and executed program management responsibilities. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Program Portfolio at Beyond, where they lead the most profitable business unit globally and owns scaled relationships with various companies.

Marcus Chairez earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from the Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business between 2005 and 2009.
