Murat Akyol

Murat Akyol has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Murat is currently working at Bynder as the VP of Product, where they are responsible for the overall strategy, planning, design, execution, and delivery of Bynder's product lines. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Product Design at Bynder.

From 2011 to 2020, Murat worked at Exact, where they held various roles. Murat started as a Freelance UX Designer and later became a User Experience Designer, responsible for developing visual concepts and interface designs for different Exact products. Murat then transitioned to the role of Senior Product Manager, managing the product backlog and improving the user experience of Exact Online. Finally, they became the Manager of User Experience Design, leading a team of 15 UX Designers and delivering innovative solutions for over 400,000 SMEs and Accountants.

Before Exact, Murat worked as a User Interface Developer at ICATT interactive media from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they were a Managing Partner at Urbsz | Urban Interactive from 2007 to 2009. Murat also had freelance work experience as a UX Designer at Ezgy.nl from 2005 to 2009.

Murat Akyol completed their Bachelor's degree in Communication & Multimedia Design at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 2005 to 2009. Murat then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Executive Master in Media Innovation at Breda University of Applied Sciences from 2015 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certification as a Professional Scrum Product Owner from Scrum.org in October 2015.
