Gil Horning

Gil Horning is currently the Product Manager at Ivy Energy. Prior to this, they worked as a Substitute Teacher for the La Mesa-Spring Valley School District & Cajon Valley School District from May 2018 to May 2021. Gil has also worked as a Senior Product Manager – Innovation, Product Development at NRG Energy from July 2013 to May 2015 and as a Senior Manager Reliant Home Solutions from February 2011 to June 2013. Additionally, they have served as a Senior Manager - New Product Development at NRG Energy from September 2009 to January 2011 and as a Manager - New Product Development at Reliant Energy from October 2007 to August 2009. Horning began their career at Reliant Energy as a Senior Analyst - Customer Life Cycle Management in April 2004 and was promoted to Senior Analyst Residential Marketing in July 2001 and Senior Analyst Revenue Analysis/Negotiated Pricing in May 2000. Prior to their work in the energy industry, they were an Operations/Assistant Store Manager at Macy's from July 1997 to October 1998.

Gil Horning has a MBA from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business, a Master of Education in Mathematics from National University, and a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Economics and Architectural Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
