David Traynor

David Traynor has extensive experience in leadership and investment across various sectors. Currently serving as Interim CEO and Executive Director at Byotrol plc since April 2023, David focuses on the development and commercialization of anti-microbial technologies. Additionally, David has been the Non-Executive Chairman at VOID Technologies since May 2020 and previously held the CEO position at Byotrol plc from October 2013 to November 2022. As a Partner at WhatIF Ventures from April 2007 to October 2013, David specialized in seed and venture capital investments in UK consumer-facing companies. Prior experience includes serving as an Executive Director at Lehman Brothers from September 1999 to September 2006, where David specialized in capital markets and equity raising. David holds an MBA from London Business School (2004-2006) and a degree from the University of Oxford (1984-1987).
