Byrne Dairy
Drashti Shah is a Research and Development Scientist at Byrne, Inc. since October 2023, focusing on formulating and modifying dairy products, including low-sugar chocolate milk and ultra-filtered milk. Previous experience includes roles at Cornell University in the Elad Tako Lab, and a position in Space Food Research and Product Development at Space Food Club, where meal design for astronauts was undertaken. Drashti also served as a Food Technologist at Agri Vaidic Integration, conducting research on nutritional beverages, and as a Food Microbiology and Chemical Intern at Analytical & Environmental Services. In addition, extensive volunteer and management experience was gained at Make A Difference and roles in writing and content creation were held at K4 Media & Technologies and Winuall. Drashti holds a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology from Cornell University and a B.Tech in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology.
