Ricky Beaty is a DevOps Engineer with a diverse work experience. In 2018, they founded Beaty Consultancy, a business focused on cloud migration work. Ricky enjoys working with small, innovative businesses worldwide, helping them leverage the opportunities of cloud computing. In 2020, Ricky joined Byta as a DevOps Lead, where they built a new cloud-native infrastructure for the company. Ricky collaborates closely with Byta's developers to support and architect new music industry features. Prior to this, they served as a Lead Technical Advisor at Capita Property and Infrastructure from 2016 to 2019. Before that, they worked as a Support Technician at BPD Zenith from 2014 to 2016. Ricky started their career at Capita in 2012, where they worked as a Systems Administrator supporting a range of software solutions, including an asset management database application for Transport For London. Ricky also gained experience as a Regional IT Technician and IT Technician at Capita Property and Infrastructure, supporting users and resolving support cases across multiple regions. Ricky's work experience showcases a strong background in DevOps and a track record of supporting and implementing cloud-based solutions.

Ricky Beaty, DevOps Engineer, pursued their education in the field of Computer Science. Ricky obtained a Foundation degree from the University of Central Lancashire, which they attended from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, Ricky also completed an AVCE in Computing from the same university, from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, Ricky has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in their profession. Ricky became an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, as well as an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, in 2021. In 2018, Ricky earned the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services. Prior to that, in 2014, they obtained the IBM Cloud and Smarter Infrastructure certification from IBM.
