Gautam Vohra

Gautam Vohra is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Head of Legal for South Asia and Regional Counsel for the Middle East at ByteDance since February 2022. Prior to this role, Gautam held the position of Vice President - Legal at Fareportal from September 2021 to February 2022, focusing on legal and compliance functions for the India business and providing legal advisory for global initiatives. Gautam has also served in various legal capacities at ByteDance, Hike (as General Counsel for Bharti Group), Amazon (as Principal Legal Counsel), Nokia (as Senior Legal Counsel), and Wipro Limited (as Legal Counsel). Academically, Gautam holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Delhi University, a Master’s Degree in Corporate Laws from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business from Hansraj College.
