Hashim Mahmood

Hashim Mahmood is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience spanning over a decade in various leadership roles across notable companies in the technology and retail sectors. As the Regional HR Director for ByteDance and TikTok since February 2020, Hashim oversees HR operations in the Middle East, Turkey, Africa, Pakistan, and Central & South Asia. Prior to this role, Hashim served as the Global HR Director at Jollychic and held significant HR positions at NETS-International Communication and Huawei. Hashim began an HR career at Nokia and has also contributed to academia as a Junior Lecturer at Bahria University. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Human Resource Management from Bahria University and bachelor's degrees in Computer Software Engineering and Journalism & Sociology from Allama Iqbal Open University and the University of the Punjab, respectively.
