William Liu

William Liu is an experienced human resources professional with a strong background in talent recruitment and strategic HR partnerships. Currently serving as an HR lead at ByteDance since May 2020, William focuses on recruiting for research and engineering roles across various teams, including AI Lab and TikTok's global engineering sectors. Prior to this, William was a Lead Recruitment Partner at Pony.ai, where the role involved establishing the US engineering teams and leading full life cycle recruitment for autonomous driving roles. William's experience also includes a position as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Intellipro Group Inc, where recruitment services were provided to major technology companies such as Google and LinkedIn. William holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Marquette University and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Beijing Forestry University.
