Yulong Gu

Yulong Gu is a seasoned research scientist with extensive experience in the fields of data science and algorithm development. Currently at 字节跳动 since June 2022, Yulong has previously held significant roles at 阿里巴巴集团 as a 技术专家, focusing on enhancing the e-commerce search engine algorithm for Taobao. Prior experience includes a research scientist position at 京东, where Yulong contributed to the development of advanced recommendation algorithms, implementing various deep learning methodologies. Yulong's earlier career includes a research role at 微软 MSRA in the Knowledge Mining Group, as well as an internship at Baidu, Inc. Yulong holds a PhD in Computer Science from Tsinghua University, obtained between 2012 and 2017.
