Julie Nys is a medical stakeholder ambassador at Byteflies. Julie has been a postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven and VIB from November 2015 to March 2019. Her research topic was the capacity of the brain to rewire and physiologically modify neural connections in response to environmental changes. Julie was also the president of the Postdoc Association (PDA) and the Center for Brain & Disease Research (CBD). From August 2014 to November 2014, Julie was a visiting researcher at the University of Montréal.
Julie Nys has a PhD in Biology from the University of Leuven, KU Leuven. Julie also has a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from the same school. Julie has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from the University of Leuven, KU Leuven. Julie also studied Modern Languages-Science at Sint-Jozefscollege, Aarschot.
