Tim Bogaert

Tim Bogaert is the current Chief Technology Officer at Byteflies. Prior to this, they were with InTheRealWorld.io, Brandweer Zele, and De Persgroep, where they served as the Chief Technology Officer. Tim has also worked as a programmer for VRT.

Bogaert's educational career began with a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia & Communication Technology from PIH. Tim then became a Corporal in the Firefighter School (PBO), before becoming an IGS Team member specializing in hazardous substances. Tim is also a certified firefighter and has taken courses in plumbing and electricity from CVO Leerstad. Additionally, they have a Mason certification from PCVO Waas & Durme. Bogaert has also completed a High School course in Latin, Math, and Science from Pius X. Finally, they are also a certified paramedic and has certification from the Belgian Federal Government in Steering License - vaarbewijs, MongoDB in MongoDB for Java Developers, Sun Microsystems in Sun Certified Programmer, and Amazon Web Services in AWS Solutions Architect - Associate.

Tim Bogaert reports to Hans Danneels, Co-CEO. Some direct reports include Jonathan Dan - Signal Processing Engineer, Matthias Swiggers - Firmware Engineer, and Waverlee Harvey - Application Engineer & Scrum Master. They work with Lars Veelaert - CISO & Software Engineer, Roel Buyzen - Chief Delivery Officer, and Benjamin Vandendriessche - CMO.
