Dr. Simon Jordan

Dr. Simon Jordan has a diverse work experience. Dr. Simon is currently the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Byways, a position they have held since January 2020. Before that, Dr. Jordan was a Cohort Member at Entrepreneur First from October 2019 to January 2020. Dr. Simon also worked as an AI Advisor at shiftdGG from March 2019 to September 2019.

Dr. Jordan has extensive experience in the automotive industry. Dr. Simon worked at Volkswagen AG from March 2013 to September 2019, first as a Researcher from March 2013 to April 2016, and then as a Project Lead from April 2016 onwards. Prior to that, they were a Researcher at Volkswagen Group of America, Electronics Research Lab. from February 2012 to February 2013.

In addition, Dr. Jordan has worked as a Student Research Assistant at Fraunhofer FOKUS from January 2011 to January 2012, and as a Student Assistant at Daimler Center for Automotive Information Technology Innovations from July 2009 to January 2011.

Dr. Simon Jordan completed their education in the field of Computer Science. Dr. Simon first attended Technische Universität Berlin from 2004 to 2011, where they obtained their Dipl.-Inform. degree. In 2009, they also briefly studied at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Later, from 2013 to 2018, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy degree at Leibniz Universität Hannover, further specializing in Computer Science.
